Charlie's Stable
 

Charlie's Stable is a recent deluxe conversion carefully undertaken not only to keep original features but to introduce both character and individual beauty to this stone-built cottage.

Charlie was the last horse to be housed in this stable. He pulled an Irish jaunting car for the Burton family between their hydroelectric stations in Askrigg & Reeth. The cottage contains relics of the pre-war era.

The accommodation consists of a fully equipped Kitchen, Lounge with remote control television with video & DVD and remote control CD stereo system.

The first floor bedroom with its beamed roof has spectacular views from the bedside, ample storage and a remote control TV and radio alarm clock help to complete the comfort of this double bedded room.

The bathroom has both an individual electric shower and bath, it features a large Art Deco cast iron hand basin.

The cottage has controllable oil fired central heating and hot water.

There is a separate garden adjacent to the River Arkle with a bar-b-que and other relaxing features. The parking area is exclusive and private.
